Position: Engineered Production Quotation Manager

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Duties: Analyze and utilize systems relating to industrial production with an emphasis on inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Analyze production schedules, engineering specifications, orders/requests for orders, and related information to estimate production costs. Confer with clients, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status. Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards. Manage the creation of product related quotes and ensure on-time delivery, quality, and consistency of all quotations issued to Oil and Gas customers. Prioritize quotations activities, cost saving methods, workload based on customer needs, resource capabilities and availability, and related information to provide accurate cost proposals to Oil & Gas sales department. Communicate with manufacturing plants to negotiate agreements, develop cost structure and standards. Develop metrics that track actual costs versus quotations and drive process improvement to accelerate quote turn-around time. Related skills required.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or equivalent plus 2 years of experience as an Engineering/Project Manager in the oil and gas and energy industry. Related skills required.
